The most successful representatives of Polish businesses, enterprises, institutions and universities were distinguished during the official Final Gala of the Symbol 2019 programme, which was held on 22 November in unique, historic rooms of the Monopol hotel in Katowice. Mokate was distinguished with the title “Polish Quality Symbol 2019”. The award was received by the CEO of the Mokate Group – Adam Mokrysz, PhD.
The Gala was led by a TVP journalist Marek Durmała, who opened it, welcoming entrepreneurs and scientists as well as representatives of business, media and culture. He did not omit to mention the Jury members, whose expert knowledge and experience helped to select such an elitist and symbolic group of laureates. The jury of the Symbol programme was comprised of: President of TUV Nord Polska Henryk Warkocz; Katarzyna Bilińska, PhD, professor of the University of Economics in Katowice; Mateusz Grzesiak, PhD; Jan Rzymełka, PhD; Joanna Drzazga-Lisiecka and Jakub Lisiecki.
During the presentation “How to build company image based on the leader’s personal brand”, the journalist, Jarosław Kuźniar, who is known from the radio, press, TV and recently more and more from the Internet, said that caring for your image and the skilful promotion of your achievements is very important in the context of the development of your own business.
“This is why we created the Symbol programme. Today, we bring together companies, enterprises, universities and institutions characterised by the development of modern technologies, premium quality, innovation, effective management, business support and synergy between science and business. For these factors are the most important”, noted Jakub Lisiecki, Editor-in-Chief of the “Business Monitor” in Rzeczpospolita daily and the “Market Monitor” in Gazeta Prawna daily, during his speech at the gala.
As part of this year’s edition, the jury distinguished more than 60 entities from various industries, the majority of which were enterprises, and about one-third – scientists. Laureates receiving their awards often emphasised that it was effective management, innovation, development and synergy between science and business that motivated them to work hard.
